Beginning his part-time visual arts career as a nature photographer, it was Jon Pinney's zest for working with people that made his transition to becoming a wedding photographer inevitable. Pinney says, "I still enjoy the unexpectedness of photographing birds, or the calmness of landscapes, but there's nothing like the exuberance of a bride that makes a wedding photo fun to look at." But photographing weddings wasn't always Pinney's first choice. "True," admits Pinney. "Then I assisted Joe [Elwell] on a few and I really enjoyed them.
