For security reasons, people are booking companies as opposed to the small, independent guys and I was always turned off by working for a company. When I came to Tone Zone for an interview, I knew right away that if there were ever a professional DJ company to work for, this one was it! Back when a band was still the choice of entertainment at a wedding, Chris Rainville was cutting his teeth as a DJ at a local roller rink in his hometown of Agawam, MA. "It's kinda funny, but there really isn't a better place to learn how to be a DJ than at a roller rink. I got to learn how the equipment was used, see first-hand how people reacted to the latest hits, and practice how to professionally use a microphone... all without making any purchases!" It wouldn't be long, however, that Chris would outgrow the rink's DJ booth in favor of private events.
